Your tour guide has had a passion for the paranormal his whole life! He is the founder of the San Francisco Ghost Society, a paranormal group that investigates claims of the supernatural in San Francisco. He has been featured in several newspaper pieces and recently served on a discussion panel about ghosts and urban legends at the World Horror Convention 2006 in San Francisco. GhoSt Augustine Tours offers staunch believers, hardcore skeptics and curious tourists alike frighteningly fun tours about town filled with fascinating stories of those whose spirits linger in the nation’s oldest city. GhoSt Augustine’s Hearse Ride Tour offers a 60-minute and a 90-minute ride through the historic district’s darkest side; down dim alleyways and around corners where larger tour vehicles can’t access. Chicago is one of the most haunted cities in the world, boasting a colorful but disturbingly dark and violent past. Many of the sites on our tours are notorious for their ghost sightings and paranormal activity. Others are not as well known. The stories behind many of these hauntings range from the truly chilling to the light- of heart. We’ve found that some spirits of our beloved but haunted Chicago seem to beg loudly for recognition and remembrance, while others remind us of their reality in a more subtle fashion. We think a few wish to teach lessons, while others remain playful. All, we believe, wish not to be forgotten.
